About Paediatric Physiotherapy

Paediatric Physiotherapy is the treatment of physical conditions experienced by babies, children and young people, from birth to 19 years of age.

What do Paediatric Physiotherapists do?

Wellbeing's Physiotherapy service takes a 'whole person' approach to health and wellbeing - our Paediatric Physiotherapists will assess and pay attention to your child's individual needs as well as their emotional wellbeing.

Our Physiotherapists will consult the parents/carers and the child, to create an individualised treatment plan, to help promote their physical potential and independence.

Their treatment plan might include: physical activities, movement through play, exercises, positioning and handling, specialist equipment, orthotics and other forms of treatment.

These activities will be incorporated into simple day to day activities - to enhance the physiotherapy program and maximise its benefits.

Customer Feedback...

  • I'd been putting off going to my GP for a very long time but when my wife mentioned Wellbeing and that I could get an appointment the same week I thought I might as well go for it. I'm so glad I did, my Wellbeing Audiologist was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain both the Microsuction procedure and my condition to me. Understanding why my ears give me so much trouble also put my mind at rest, which has made me a lot happier

    Ryan, Colchester

The speed of service, the professionalism shown and the care taken to assess my injuries were second to none. The advice given by Wellbeing helped vastly speed up my recovery and the ongoing support has been invaluable.

    Mike, Colchester
  • Thank you for seeing and assessing me so promptly. You really put my mind at ease and prevented an unnecessary trip to the GP which as it turns out would not have yielded any benefit or sorted out the problem I came to you about.

    Happy Customer, Chelmsford

I found your service thorough and professional. Additionally, I was really delighted to be able to have the time to discuss fully the issues with such an experienced professional.  Indeed, following the assessment the advice and treatment you recommended appear to have sorted out a long term problem that was getting worse and causing me increasing pain and discomfort. Many thanks.

    Jackie, Colchester
