We all want to feel that we are at the peak level of health, both physically and emotionally. That's why Provide Wellbeing's services are designed to help you access treatments that promote your wellbeing and give you the option to change things that matter to you. Simply put, we put you back at the centre of your care. We offer all our services to self-paying patients, along with a range of NHS services that are geographically dependent and require a referral from your GP.
Provide Wellbeing was formed in 2017 from an organisation called Provide CIC that provides front-line NHS services, and now serves over four and a half million people. In these times of growing need and shrinking budgets, the NHS can't do everything – and there are some services that are more to do with personal wellbeing than physical health.
You now have even more options to choose from when selecting a treatment that suits you. On April 1st 2021, Tollgate Clinic and Provide Wellbeing merged, which means that more people than ever can can access a range of additional self-pay services. Tollgate and its satellite clinics across East Anglia were rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in 2019, reflecting our attention to patient care and the quality of our service provision.
Our aim is to provide you with more than just healthcare, whether it’s enabling you to access services you wouldn’t normally be able to, or continuing with healthcare advice beyond that which is readily available.
Exceptional Clinical Care
We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards in both customer service and clinical care. Our clinicians and their teams are committed to ensuring that you have the best experience in all your interactions with us.
We're all human and have our customers and our staff at the heart of everything we do, treating each other with respect.
Keep It Simple
We are always looking for ways to improve the way you access and experience our services. Life is complicated enough, so we keep our process simple, from booking to aftercare.
Listen first then listen some more. We have a desire to improve and excel at everything we do. Using our eyes and ears, and allowing ourselves the time to think, keeps us in the right direction.
Provide Wellbeing offers you a range of high quality, self-pay health and wellbeing services that may not be readily available through the NHS. Our aim is to enable you to get the most from life, by improving both your health and your wellbeing. The types of services we offer fall into several categories, including:
A word from our Managing Director, Paul Cooke, about who we are…
“We like to think Provide Wellbeing is a little bit different – in the range of services we offer; the way in which you can access them; and most importantly, how we treat our customers. Our vision is to be the go-to place when you need great care, providing you with ‘more than just healthcare’.
Companies like to declare their values to define who they are and what’s important to them and, in this regard, we are no different. We firmly believe in ours as they are the lifeblood of our business and what we aspire to every day. They demonstrate how we work together, providing us with a common language that we (and we hope you) can recognise and relate to. The following core principles underpin everything that we do as an organisation – and should give you an idea of our ethics as well as the standards you can expect from us.”
Provide Wellbeing’s parent company, Provide CIC, is a staff-owned community interest company that delivers health and social care services across Essex, outer north east London and East Anglia. As part of the ever-changing NHS structure, it was formed as Provide CIC in 2010 after a long history of delivering NHS services. Any surplus Provide CIC makes by working in more innovative and effective ways is reinvested into the services and/or the local communities it serves.
Provide CIC delivers a wide range of health and social care services, and employs around 1,000 people. Its staff deliver care from community hospitals as well as community clinics and in people’s homes. They are committed to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care, and to ensuring that those who use our services have a positive patient experience.
Provide CIC’s services are commissioned by the NHS and local councils, and are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
We welcome all feedback, and will always aim to resolve any problems and concerns as quickly as possible. We provide all patients with an SMS link to a Survey Monkey questionnaire, we are always looking for ways to improve and we will be grateful for your feedback about our service. You can call us on 0300 303 9966 and we will do our best to help you.
If you have a complaint or concern about the service you have received from the doctors or any of the personnel working for Provide Wellbeing, please let us know. We operate a clinic complaint procedure as part of an NHS complaints system, which meets national criteria.
