We offer this service in the following areas...

Please note: We are not currently offering Physiotherapy services at Wellbeing.

Wellbeing offers a Physiotherapy service from clinics across Essex including the Braintree Community Hospital, Kestrel House, Chelmer Clinic, and the Tollgate Clinic. Our team of Physiotherapists has a wealth of experience both in the NHS and in the private sector, including work with elite level UK athletics, premiership football, and English professional rugby.

Our Physiotherapists offer treatments for injury and rehabilitation, to help you return to your normal day to day activities or full physical fitness with reduced pain and increased mobility. Your Physiotherapist will discuss your concerns with you and gain an understanding of your condition, how it affects your daily life, and what you would like to achieve from your treatment.

Wellbeing also offers Physiotherapy for children from the ages of 0-19 years to support a wide range of conditions which affect development, movement, posture or joints. We take a 'whole person' approach to health and wellbeing - our Paediatric Physiotherapists will assess and pay attention to your child's individual needs, as well as their emotional wellbeing, to create an individualised treatment plan to help promote their physical potential and independence.

How can Physiotherapy help me?

Physiotherapy helps to encourage development, reduce pain, improve range of motion and mobility capabilities, and speed up recovery. At the core of our Physiotherapy treatment is your involvement in your own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in your treatment.

You can benefit from Physiotherapy at any point in your life, whether it be helping to remain independent in old age, dealing with a sporting injury, or helping to improve the function of painful joints and muscular support.

Treatment information

Your Physiotherapist will coach you through exercises and stretches that help to strengthen your muscles and joints. We can offer the latest treatments such as Shockwave Therapy, Real Time Ultrasound Scanning, Pain Relieving Injections, Acupuncture, Biomechanical Analysis, and Orthotics. You can discuss your suitability for these treatments with us at the time of booking or with your Physiotherapist at your first assessment appointment.

For children, treatment plans might include: physical activities, movement through play, exercises, positioning and handling, specialist equipment, orthotics, and other forms of treatment. These activities will be incorporated into simple day-to-day routines to enhance the physiotherapy program and maximise its benefits.
