I am a portfolio GP with special interests in vasectomy, minor surgery, dermatology and swimming medicals. I was a GP principal for 18 years until 2020. I also have an interest in musculoskeletal steroid injections, although currently not clinically active in this area, and in 2020 I worked in a local prison as a GP. I trained at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (currently Imperial), with postgraduate basic surgical training, and part 1 FRCS. I have been a vasectomy surgeon since 2003, a clinical assistant in dermatological surgery at Addenbrookes Hospital circa 2010, and achieved a Diploma in practical dermatology in 2011.
I have provided enhanced minor surgery services for two and a half years in Suffolk, vasectomy services in four different counties in 2021, two weekly sessions of dermatology in Braintree via Provide, and I have also performed over 240 swimming medicals for the open water swimming community in 2021. I joined Tollgate in March 2020. I choose to do the work that I enjoy and I feel I can perform well, and I enjoy the professionals I work with at Tollgate.
